children's ministries

During Sunday Morning Worship, Pastor Rob meets with the children -preschool thru 3rd grade - for "The Children's Moment".  When he is finished the children can choose to stay and worship in the sanctuary or (with parents permission) be excused to attend Children's Church. 
 
Children's Church ministry is designed to engage our children and teach them lessons from the Bible.  The teaching style meets the needs of different learners and has become the favorite choice following the children's moment.
 
Elementary age children can also participate in the Elementary Youth group.  This group was developed to introduce our young people to fun in learning about faith, exercising faith through outreach programs and fundraisers. 

 The first full week of August is our annual Vacation Bible School.  Each year we build a week of fun and learning about Jesus by decorating the church, learning new songs, playing games (and often getting wet!!)  VBS is for all students preschool through 6th grade. Jr High and High School students are welcome to be a part of our team throughout the entire week.

We usually  wrap up our week with a family cook out on Friday night and a VBS celebration on Sunday with children's led worship revealing what they learned over the week and we follow worship with a carry in/ dish to pass lunch with the main course provided by the church.
